A late Regency gem-set sentimental acrostic 'Regard' cluster ring set with a central old mine cut diamond with a border of five stones: ruby, emerald, garnet, amethyst and ruby spelling 'Regard', With yellow gold beadwork around the stones and an ornate bifurcated flora and foliate shank. A beautiful and decorative ring. These rings are becoming increasingly rare to find in good condition. There is a very small chip on the amethyst but otherwise in excellent condition.
