ABOUT THE ERA

Victorian Era Jewellery

Jewellery in the Victorian era (1837–1901), named after Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom, is notable for its diversity and reflection of the period's social, cultural, and technological changes.

This era can be divided into three distinct periods: the Early Victorian or Romantic period, the Mid-Victorian or Grand period, and the Late Victorian or Aesthetic period. Each phase had its own unique characteristics and influences on jewellery design.
